Military Veterans

We proudly support our military veterans and will work with and train you to take your first steps into a new career with us.

we're gi bill® approved!

Proudly supporting our military members into the next career phase.

Our student training program enables military veterans to use their GI Bill benefits to supplement their income during their first year of employment.

A professional driving career at Maverick is a perfect fit for many military men and women. The high level of dedication and discipline it takes to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces transfers well to what we refer to as "The Maverick Way®." It includes highly structured training, continually striving for excellence in all we do, and an unwavering emphasis on safety and quality. Our business philosophy also includes doing 'the right thing with integrity, respect and commitment.' While the Maverick Way certainly isn't for everyone, we find that it’s a natural fit for many military veterans  – 17% of our fleet has served in the armed forces.

Maverick has been recognized by The Arkansas Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, for our efforts made to support Guard and Reserve members through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.

Since 2017, Maverick has been named a U.S. Veterans Magazine “Best of the Best” top veteran-friendly company. We support our military veterans to be the best professional drivers they can be - especially since they've been there for all of us.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
